The Arizona Board of Regents outlines undergraduate admission requirements for Arizona’s public universities. Requirements are designed to ensure students are adequately prepared to thrive in college.
Review the following criteria and then visit your schools of interest to review any additional requirements for admission.
Standardized testing (SAT/ACT)
While not required for admission to any of Arizona’s public universities, most students take the standardized tests through their high school during spring of junior year.
The University of Arizona does not require either test for admission to the university, the honors college or for merit scholarship eligibility, but scores may be submitted for course placement at orientation or to help fulfill core competency requirements.
