Resident undergraduate 2023–2024 tuition and mandatory fees

$13,161 per year

Affordability programs for residents

Arizona Promise Program

The Arizona Promise Program helps eligible Arizona residents by covering the remaining tuition and fee costs not taken care of by other gift aid for up to four years.

President Barack Obama Scholars Program

The Obama Scholars Program helps eligible Arizona residents cover estimated direct costs including actual tuition, undergraduate college fees (including the Barrett Honors fee), and student-initiated fees, as well as a portion of housing, food, books, course materials, supplies and equipment for up to four years.

ASU College Attainment Grant Program

The College Attainment Grant Program helps eligible Arizona residents cover remaining tuition and fee costs not covered by other gift aid for up to four years.

Nonresident 2023–2024 tuition and fees

$34,161 per year

Affordability programs for nonresidents

Western Undergraduate Exchange

Residents of western states (other than Arizona) may enroll in the ASU WUE program at a tuition rate of 150% of Arizona base resident tuition plus all applicable fees for fall and spring terms. WUE programs are limited to select majors at ASU's Downtown Phoenix, Polytechnic and West Valley campuses. The WUE tuition rate is not available for ASU Online programs.

International students

International students attending ASU will pay tuition and fees, and should also budget for housing and other expenses.
