A lot of people think hobbies are just for fun while careers are just work. But for many college students, the best path starts with the things they already love doing. Before you choose a major or career, think about what excites you, motivates you and gives you a sense of purpose. Your interests could lead you to a future you actually enjoy.
It doesn’t have to be that way and it usually isn’t for college students who follow their genuine interests.
So, before you think about majors and careers, pay attention to the things that bring you personal satisfaction and how these may relate to a career.
