Affordability for Arizonans
A promise to make college more affordable for Arizonans
The Arizona Board of Regents’ promise to Arizona residents is to “increase postsecondary access and attainment for Arizona students, to seek solutions to societal challenges and to do both while increasing quality, affordability and efficiency.” What does this mean for you? If you’re an Arizona resident with the desire to earn a college degree, it means there are programs in place to help you.

Loan assistance available for veterinarians
The Arizona Veterinary Loan Assistance Program (AVLAP) provides loan assistance for veterinarians who work in Arizona for at least four years. Veterinarians must be accepted into the program and enter into an agreement with the Arizona Board of Regents before receiving assistance. Funding is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
Arizona Teacher Student Loan Program
Students attending private colleges can take advantage of the Arizona Teacher Student Loan Program. The current program expands eligibility to more students, simplifies the teaching requirements to any Arizona public school and shortens the teaching service obligation to a term equal to the number of years of loan received.
