Three universities united in a shared goal

Empowering students from Arizona’s Indigenous communities to pursue their academic goals and earn a college degree.

Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University and the University of Arizona are enriched by the presence of American Indian students enrolled in our universities. To ensure that more and more students from Indigenous backgrounds can access a university degree, our institutions are working together to ensure you and your family are well informed about the opportunities and resources available to you. As your public universities, we are working together to help you find your best college fit.

We are here to help you reach your goals with in-person and online degrees tailored to your needs. And, with financial aid programs that keep tuition affordable and personalized support by faculty and staff from Indigenous backgrounds — ASU, NAU and UArizona are ready to support your journey — from application to graduation.

At ASU, NAU and UArizona a college degree may be more affordable than you think.

As public universities, it is our responsibility to our Arizona neighbors to make our universities accessible and keep our cost of attendance affordable. FAFSA and the Arizona Promise Program help us do just that.

File your FAFSA

Filling out the Free Application for Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA) is the first step to take to secure financial aid to make college more affordable. It’s how you’ll be considered for the most financial aid, including federal and state student grants, Work-Study and loans. All eligible students should complete the FAFSA (even if you don’t think you’ll qualify for anything) to secure all of your potential financial aid and scholarship options.

The Arizona Promise Program

Achieve the future you deserve, tuition free. That’s the Arizona Promise. The Arizona Promise Program is a guaranteed scholarship program for eligible Arizona residents that ensures all tuition and fees are covered at Arizona’s public universities. If you qualify for any federal Pell Grant, have at least a 2.5 GPA, and have filed your FAFSA, you’ll go to one of our three universities tuition free.
